• Details of two courses have been announced by the Institute of the Furniture Warehousing and Removing Industry. The first is a residential course on financial and general management at Portsmouth from February 9 to 14; designed for proprietors, removal managers and financial directors it is being held at the Royal Beach Hotel, South Parade, Southsea, and the fee for the course, excluding accommodation and meals, is £35. It is recognized for grants by the RTITB, as is the second course, which is the residential training school for' junior management. The venue for this is the Norfolk Hotel, Harrington Road, London, SW7, and it lasts from Feb. 17/21 inclusive. The residential fee is £36 10s. and the non-residential fee (which includes lunches) is £22.
