Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

PERRY REEVES is the new dealer principal at Surrey and Sussex-based Mercedes-Benz dealer Rossetts Commercials, replacing company co-founder Robert Maxwell, who is retiring.

Reeves is promoted from group aftersales director, and says it’s unusual as traditionally this is a role illed by people with sales/inancial experience. “It’s not often that someone who’s worked ‘at the coalface’ makes it to DP.” In 1979, he joined the industry as an apprentice technician, before leaving to join Brighton Transport as service manager of 45 buses operating from Lewes. In 1998, he joined Rossetts as general manager at Eastbourne, taking on responsibility for sites at Crawley then Worthing.

“I’m also keen to encourage more staff involvement. Our employees are our biggest asset and I want them to feel valued, so we’re setting up ‘care action’ teams that will comprise delegates from all parts of the business, and give staff a genuine voice,” he adds. ■
