The tramways committee of Kirkcaldy Corporation, which recently decided in favour of the abandonment of the tramways, has appointed a committee to visit towns to inspect trolleybus systems.

Orders received by John T. Thornycroft and Co., Ltd., from new users of the company's machines include one for seven buses from the Southern and Eastern National Omnibus Co., Ltd., and another for seven 5-ton chassis from Strong and Co., a brewing concern of Romsey.
