MOTAPRODUCTS Automotive Ltd, of West Heath, Birmingham, are recalling replacement brake pipes after preliminary investigations have revealed that some may be defective and in some circumstances could fracture.
The recall applies to "Moprod" complete coiled,' pre-sized, copper-coloured 3/ 16in metal brake pipes sold individually in red and yellow display boxes since January, 1979. Other types of "Moprod" brake lines are not affected by this recall.
Any vehicle user whose vehicle has been fitted with the type of replacement pipe should have it replaced immediately. All enquiries should be addressed to Motaproducts Automotive Ltd, West Way, Alvechurch Road, West Heath, Birmingham (Tel: 021-477 3232).
