SHAREHOLDERS of Leyland Motors, Ltd., unanimously approved a resolution to acquire the ordinary and preference stock of Associated Commercial Vehicles, Ltd., at an extraordinary meeting last week. At the same meeting a resolution to increase the share capital of the company by 0,900,000' to £26.590,500 was also unanimously approved.
BODY DESIGN EXHIBITION
AN exhibition of prize-winning entries in the Public Service and Commercial Vehicle Body Design Competitions. 1961-62. and the Motor Vehicle Body Crafts Competition, 1961-62, will be held at the offices of the Institute of British Carriage and Automobile Manufacturers, 50 Pall Mall. London, S.W.1, on September 6 and 7. The exhibition will be open to the public from 9.30 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.
