Two 2001-vintage X-plated Scanta R124.420 4x2 Topline low-ride tractive units stole the show at a recent sale held by Commercial Vehicle Auctions at its Doncaster centre. One went for £37,000, while the other sold for £39,000. W-plated Volvo FM12 6x2 tractors dating back to 2000 with 700,000km on the clock were selling for £19,000. If your budget doesn't stretch to that, then 1999 Oaf 85CF 380 4x2 tractors were going for £11,000 to £11,500.
