Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

ACOACH operator pleaded at Birmingham last Friday that unless he was granted a three-day tour to Blackpool he would lose his regular patrons to other Coventry firms which could provide the service. An application by Bonas and Son Ltd. (Supreme Coaches) was granted by the West Midland Commissioners, but they deleted a two-day tour to the same destination from the licence Objectors Redhouse Garage and B.T.S. Motorways Ltd., who already run threeday tours to Blackpool, claimed that the present facilities were sufficient. But the chairman, Mr. J. Else, said it was not part of the Commissioners' duties to allow an operator to suffer because the pattern of traffic was changing. The grant was limited to one vehicle on five occasions.

Redhouse Garage objected to three specific destinations when B.T.S. Motorways applied to add two groups of new destinations to their excursions and tours licence. They were concerned about day tours to Morecambe and Blackpool to be run from Coventry and to Morecambe from Bedworth. The Commissioners granted the Bedworth-Morecambe tour without a picking-up point at Coventry for not more than two vehicles. They also agreed to the Coventry-Blackpool and Morecambe tours, subject to a limitation of six occasions a year with one vehicle.

Gliderways Coaches Ltd., of Smethwick, were granted 33 additional destinations from Birmingham and Smethwick to their licence. Objections by British Railways and three local operators were withdrawn.
