Making the choice of mobile phone is a matter of knowing exactly how and where you want to use it.

2. If you are within the M25 area, then Mercury's One2One is the answer. More coverage will be available over the next few months.
3. For urban based subscribers, MetroDigital offers national coverage at a higher rate.
4. To use a phone across Europe, then your first stop must be Vodaphone and its EuroDigital system .
5. If you are only planning to use a phone in the UK, then one of the standard or special tariffs under the original cellular systems Cellnet and Vodaphone have advantages.
Remember thal apart from the cost of the handset, there is connection to the network, monthly access to the network and then peak and off peak call rates. Even if you don't make a single call, a mobile phone can cost you a lot of money!
