Occupying a prime London position next door to the Royal Albert Hall, the Royal College of Art is an unIlkely home for vehicle design, but It boasts some heavyweight names among its list of former students, College rector Professor Sir Michael Frayling's proud boast is that unlike any of his contemporaries, he can sit in his office overlooking the edge of Hyde Park and watch the work of the Department of Vehicle Design's old boys drive past.
