Latest figures from the Vehicle & Operator Services Agency (VOSA) show the number of annual trailer tests increased by 1.9% (4.427) in 2002/03 to 242,000. The composition of the UK fleet continued to change from one and two-axle to triaxle trailers. The total in this class rose by almost 10,000 during the year: they now account for 68.7% of the trailer fleet.
