FUEL SAVINGS of five to 20 per cent are claimed for a fuel treatment which is marketed by Nlainstate Holdings of Alton, Hampshire.

The F20 is a derivative of F20 Marine, which has been developed initially for use by the shipping industry. Mixed with fuel in bulk at a ratio of one to 1,000, the treatment is said to reduce the surface tension of the fuel, promoting finer atomisation within the combustion chamber.
