UNDER an agreement signed between the John Thompson group of companies, Wolverhampton, and the Frailmobile Division of Pullman Inc., Cincinnatti, Ohio, U.S.A., the British concern has obtained exclusive manufacturing rights for Trailmobile products in the U.K. and Eire. These will be available in Britain in the latter half of 1965.
Trailmobile is one of America's largest manufacturers of trailers and semitrailers and also produces tanks, bodies and containers. Although the agreement will allow both Thompson Bros. (Bilston) Ltd. and Darham Industries (London) Ltd. (both members of the John Thompson Group) to. make use of Trailmobile design facilities, the manufacturing licence will largely be operated by John Thompson Motor Pressings Ltd, A new container and trailer division of this concern will be set up to manufacture and sell trailers, semi-trailers and bulk containers.
N.A.F.W.R.'s New Subs
AT the conference of the National Association of Furniture Warehousemen and Removers a new scale of subscriptions was adopted to take effect from March 1, 1965. The main changes are as"follows, with the current amounts shown in brackets: Annual minimum subscription, £8 fa 6s.); maximum subscription, £50 (139 7s. 6d.).
