MESSRS. J. ROBINSON AND SON, West Mount Mews, Westborough.--This company employs C-ommercars for its work. They am o up-to-date machines, and only started service this year. Mr. Robinson reports that the traffic has not heel] phenomenal, but, on the whole, the season has been a
moderately-successful one. Amongst the trips which have been regularly run are those to Pau, Hayburn Wyke, Forge Valley and Hackness, for 2s. 6d. return; to Thornton-le-Date (known as the prettiest village in Yorkshire), for 4s.; to Whitby Moors or Wykeham Abbey, 3s.; and to Bridlington .(20 miles to the south of Scarborough) for 5s. Messrs. J. Robinson and Son also own a fleet. of private touring cars, landaulets and taxicabs, which are held for hire.
