Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Swallow RENAULT TRUCKS dealer RH Commercial Vehicles (RHCV) has bought Derbyshire-based Cotes Park Commercials for an undisclosed sum.

The deal adds Alfreton to existing RHCV sites at Leicester and Nottingham. MD Nigel Baxter had previously hinted at plans to establish "a comprehensive network of sites" (CM 7 March).

Cotes Park Commercials has been servicing and repairing all makes of vehicles from Derbyshire and north Nottinghamshire at its 6,000m2 site for three decades.

Baxter said the five employees at Alfreton will be joined by three others, and the company intends to invest in parts stock, diagnostic equipment and tooling.

"We have been looking at expansion in this vicinity for some time and Cotes Park is the perfect fit for RHCV. Ideally located with excellent accessibility, the site is just off the A38 and MI motorway at J28. The new site offers a four-bay workshop with room for further expansion," he said. "This acquisition forms an integral part of the ongoing development of our network so that we can provide first-class sales, parts, service and repair facilities to our existing and expanding customer base. Extending our footprint takes us closer to our customers, making it easier for them to do business with us," he continued.

"This purchase means we are now in a stronger position to grow our market share across the East Midlands."

The previous owners of Cotes Park Commercials, Robert and Mike Knowles, will stay with the business for a handover period. Robert Knowles said: "We're really pleased that RHCV will be taking over, this will enable the business to flourish and grow in the coming years."
