Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A MAJOR survey of passenger movement by bus in the North of Glasgow is being undertaken for the Greater Glasgow PTE by Scott, Wilson, Kirkpatrick and Company.

Each passenger who boards a bus which is being surveyed is handed either a green or yellow card which he returns, untouched, on getting off. By simply taking and returning this card he is giving full information on his boarding and alighting points.

A sample of passengers will be asked to fill in a full questionnaire.
