One of the well-known "non-delegates" up in Scotland was J. Mack, former traffic manager of Scottish Omnibuses Ltd. who now runs Sanderson Travel Agency in Edinburgh for the Scottish Bus Group. As chairman of the transport committee for the British Commonwealth Games which are to be held in his city next July, Mr. Mack is now involved in monthly meetings to schedule the SBG and corporation buses into a shuttle service for the competitors between the Games Village at the University Halls of Residence and the stadium a mile away.
He was waiting until after the Queen's visit this week before he started a publicity campaign to recruit volunteer drivers. All in a day's work for this experienced transport man.
