• In order to cut out the usual delay between a purchasing decision and having the specialist equipment fitted to the chosen vehicle, Powell Duffryn Engineering has decided to put into production and hold in stock popular makes of chassis to which will be fitted Dumpmaster or Dinosaur container handling equipment so that units will be available on an ex-stock basis.
Dumpster units are being fitted to Bedford KGTC 60s, Bedford [(GTE Site-Tipper and Commer CEGW 815. Dinosaur 11S units are fitted to Commer Maxiload CEGW 1655 and Bedford KMS chassis, and the 13T Dinosaur is fitted to the AEC Marshal TGM6RT and the Leyland Retriever 22LRT3CR. The Leach Packmaster is fitted to an SVO Ford D750 custom chassis and cab with a 156in. wheelbase.
