• Flashing direction indicators or warning triangles . . . Mr. Richard Marsh, the Minister of .Transport, is now trying to decide which is the better way of telling drivers there is a hazard on the road.
He told MPs that he is studying both the road safety value and the cost of the two systems.
He noted that some new British cars already had as a standard fitting the device which enabled all the direction indicators to be flashed simultaneously as an emergency warning system.
