Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Leading a procession of 70 floats in Hull tomorrow will be five vehicles making up a transport tableau presented by the Yorks (Hull) area of the RHA. The occasion is the Lord Mayor's parade which this year has "Enterprise—Hull" as its theme.

The new symbol of the road haulage industry will provide a link between the five vehicles which trace the history of road haulage, beginning with a horse and cart supplied by Reader Bros. Ltd. Mr George Reader, a past chairman of the area, has provided one of two Suffolk Punches which he keeps for show purposes.

Next in order is a 1918 Foden steam tractor belonging to a well-known heavy haulier, Mr L. V. Brooksbank, followed by a 1922 van driven by Mr J. H. Selle of Selles (Storage and Removals) Ltd.

Wake Bros (Haulage) Ltd. brings the picture up to date with a Leyland tractive unit hauling a 40ft semi-trailer bearing an impressive tableau showing how Britain is linked by road haulage with the rest of the world. Ten girls carried on the vehicle will be dressed in the national costumes of countries to which British hauliers operate and three other girls will represent a lorry driver, modern youth and even a spaceman.

The fifth entry underlines the inter national theme. This is a Foden tractive unit with a 36ft York Freightmaster van semi-trailer plated for 30 tons gross and is supplied by Jacmill Transport. the company of the area chairman, Mr T. Burt It will show the names of countries to Which British hauliers travel regularly.
