Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A NEW RANGE of Yale hand-operated chain hoists is launched in the UK this week by the Materials Handling Division of Eaton Ltd.

The German-made range — from 500 to 5,000kg — has been designed to meet the demands of the light-duty end of the hoist market with light weight and low cost as the main criteria. The range starts at £58; for this model, weighing 7,5kg, the pull on the hand chain to lift the rated load is 19.5kg. The 5,000kg capacity model, on the other hand, weighing 36kg, takes a 38kg pull.

The compactness of the unit from top to bottom hook will be particularly useful in workshops with limited headroom. The housing is fully enclosed, and all rotating parts in the all-steel construction are mounted on ball or roller bearings.

The hoists are available through Eaton's plant at Wednesfield, West Midlands, and Yale distributors.
