A lull in "switch" bids ?
ARGEST single application to be found among this week's "Applications and Decisions" is by Readymix Transport, Ltd., of London, S.W.6. They ask for 23 specialized vehicles (concrete mixers) to carry ready-mixed concrete on behalf of their many sister companies spread throughout the country.
Apart from this large Metropolitan bid, applications for new licences, whether for A or B, appear to be few, and the small number of contract and C licence transfers, is surprising. Such "switches " are listed immediately below: Contract A to ,4 lie.: Mirth Western:
