HI-WAY (AUTOMOTIVE) has produced a reversing alarm suitable for on-off road vehicles with limited rearward visibility.
The alarm emits a piercing bleep with an audible range of 85 dB(A) at one metre — enough to be heard above the noise of most heavy vehicles or plant.
Water resistant, and tolerant of a wide range of temperatures, the easily fitted device costs E7.95 and is available in 12-volt or 24-volt versions.
