• The first Volvo B6R midi coach is due to arrive in Britain in August from Portuguese bodybuilder Salvador Caetano (CM 17-23 Oct 1991).
The 9m unit with Caetano's Algarve II bodywork will undergo tilt and type approval tests in Britain next month before being delivered to buyer Jeffs Coaches.
The Helmdon-based operator has ordered two of the 3 5-seaters for around £170,000. Importer Salvador Caetano (UK) of Heather, Leics has won two more orders for its 10-month-old coach body on the B6R, from Middlesex-based Chalfont Coaches and WJ Hanmer of Wrexham.
