IPSWICH OVERNIGHT • A secure lorry park in Ipswich is now available following successful negotiations between the local council and the Ipswich lorry drivers branch of the TGWU.
The Portman Road Cattle Market park can accommodate up to 100 HGVs and is open from 18.00 to 07.30, Mondays to Fridays. During the day it is used for car parking.
The site features a toilet and shower block for both male and female drivers and an attendant is on duty from 17.30 to 23.59 Monday to Friday.
The parking fee is £3 per night, including the use of the shower and toilets up to 23.00. Public toilets are available on the site 24-hours a day.
