Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A TO B FROM SYNERGY • Synergy Distribution Systems of Loughborough has added a new journey assessment software package to its range of road transport and distribution programmes, The 'A to B' programme is designed for transport managers, route schedulers and other road users who need information on time and distances when planning routes.

By using information from Synergy's computerised road map of Great Britain and a comprehensive gazeteer with 40,000 entires including place names and post sectors, A to B can calculate the quickest route and its total distance.

The programme can also memorise up to 99 routes and each route can have a maximum of 99 calls.

Once a multi-route call has been built in it can also resequence calls, to minimise the total driving time for the whole journey. Distances are shown in either kilometres or miles, and vehicle (matrix) speeds can be increased or decreased by a percentage factor.

A to B is available in two versions, including a commercial vehicle speed matrix with HGV speeds with built-in height, weight, width and gradient restrictions. It can be used with an IBM PC or any other compatible computer. For further details call Synergy on (0509) 232706.
