Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• An inquiry into the proposed London coach terminal at Paddington will not take place until next year at the earliest.

London Regional Transport, which has been campaigning for the development of the coach station on the Paddington site, will not be making a planning application until next year.

Environment Minister William Waldegave has already announced that any planning application for a new London coach terminal will be called in and a public intjuiry will be undertaken by the Department of Transport and Department of the Environment.

LRT says discussions are continuing with Grainhurst, the development company currently working on the site. In recent months little work has been done there, says LRT, so the coach terminal could still be built on the site.
