• More than 5,000 Scottish Bus Group drivers have been asked to take a 240-a-week pay cut through loss of overtime. The group's management says the scheme is necessary to compete with private companies.
Ten companies are affected. Union official Archie Wilson said: "Feelings are running high and I would say strike action is imminent."
