completed performance testing for the Fire Brigade, (CM 16-22 July), Volvo Trucks (Great Britain) has supplied an FL6-16 turntable appliance to North Yorkshire Fire Brigade.

The 154kw FL6 has been fitted with a Metz 30 turntable ladder body, supplied by Anglo of Batley, West Yorkshire. A second chassis is also on order as part of a vehicle replacement programme.

These FL6 chassis will be followed by three more FL6-14 chassis with water tender bodies built by Carmichaels of Worcester.
