flour transporter under a full contract hire agreement with BRS Southern. The 38-tonne Scania P112 tractor unit, supplied under a five-year agreement, is fitted with a power take-off to drive the trailer's discharge unit. By locatirzg the discharge unit on the tractor Garraffs has been able to keep the vehicle payload up to 2,7.5 tonnes. As the Scania will be working a double shift, seven-days-a-week operation, the contract hire agreement includes an overnight maintenance agreement to minimise downtime.
