)/NC's existing range of gle-bolt rotating warning icons has been augmented B corresponding range with a le mounting base.

he new range is designed for manent fitment, by screwing the beacon directly to the bodywork, or for removable mounting by locating the beacon's bayonet type attachment mechanism into the keyhole slots of a ring plate which has been secured to the vehicle.

The beacons are said to provide a powerful rotating beam to give adequate warning in all kinds of weather conditions. The balanced rotating reflector in each beacon is driven by a maintenance-free electric motor. The white body of the beacon, says Wipac, is made from rust-free industrial plastic. Screening from intercom, TV and radio is achieved through a separate earth return.

The beacons are available in both 12 and 24 volt versions with standard or halogen bulbs and prices range from 01 plus vat to 05.50 plus vat, depending on wattage and voltage required.

All beacons come complete with bulb, connecting leads, terminals, connectors, bodywork sealing washer, full fitting instructions, and can be sprayed either amber or blue. The Wipac Group, Buckingham MK18 1BH Tel: 0280 817317.
