• Northamptonshire police have arrested a truck driver in connection with a fatal hit-andrun on the M-1( CM915 Jan).
Eighteen-year-old Christopher Biggar died as a result of the injuries he received in the collision. His body was found by a passing truck driver on the grass verge of the southbound carriageway, just south of J19, shortly after 8.30am on 15 December.
A spokesman for Northamptonshire police says: "A 36year-old man from Liverpool was arrested in Northampton. He has now been released on police bail pending further enquiries. A truck has also been recovered and is being held for forensic examination."
