• The Road Haulage Association has lost its long-standing fight to provide operating cost tables for its members. Instead it will be allowed to run guidelines on how to calculate costs — but the Office of Fair Trading has banned it from quoting any figures.
The RHA had asked the OFT to rule on whether it could offer its members detailed guidance on costs and rates after the issue was raised at its Tipcon conference last May.
