• I am writing regarding a quote in your feature about Flowers of York (CM 9-15 Jan) which I am afraid may be wrongly interpreted by some of your readers.
Towards the end of the article Ian Craig, general manager of Flowers, says that there is only one other rental firm in York and he makes no mention at all of BRS. In fact, BRS has a major presence in the city with 33 vehicles based here — close to double that of Flowers. Utilisation was more than 90% in the period before Christmas. Should demand exceed this, BRS Rental at York is able to call on any one of 145 vehicles based at neighbouring branches at Leeds and Hull.
