Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

GIANT warehouse complex )f Quinton HazeIl (Holdings) ..td, opened last week by Mr eslie Huckfield, MP, will iandle half a million parts a veek and serve 150 countries. The £2m base—at Hazell Vay, Bermuda Road, Nuneaton — is designed to give Quinton laze!l the high-capacity distriiution network it needs to :eep pace with the growing lemand for vehicle replacenent • parts at home and tbroad.

The sophisticated order pro:essing and component conignment handling systems irovides ample capacity for rnmediately foreseeable denands and provision for furher expansion when the need .rises. The distribution centre, occupying a 131-acre site, is well sited in relation to the Midlands link of M6, being a mere three miles from Junction 3 to the north of Coventry and largely connected by dualcarriageway road links to simplify access and prevent congestion.

The centre has a 30 ft high racking system, permitting stacking seven pallets high.

The elaborate conveyor system within the warehouse is controlled by a console operator. An automatic checkweigher gives a print-out of individual consignment weights and this should tally with the computer calculated consignment weight, allowing for the carton weights.
