The road haulage operators' move to get a united front against the railway companies' propaganda was described by the chairman, Councillor C. Holdsworth, as a " step in the right direction," at the annual dinner of the North-Eastern Division of the CM U A., at Doncaster, last week. The chairman of the Membership and Propaganda Committee, Mr. H. Goodwin, told members of the intensive advertising campaign to be launched by the Association.
