New Tankstore depot • Tankstore, the bulk liquid terminal division of National Freight Consortium-owned Tankfreight, has opened a 30,000e capacity facility on Humberside for the storage of chemicals, petroleum and other products.
Tankfreight says that road transport costs can be minimised because the facility is well inland, and that Tankstore is to invest in tank specialisation to provide a major storage alternative on Humberside.
Humber Tankstore incorporates 35 mild steel insulated and coiled tanks of 50-2,5000 capacities near Scunthorpe together with mooring facilities for tankships and three berths for barges.
