Mr. W. A. Paddock, who joined Ribble Motor Services Ltd. 32 years ago as a junior clerk, has been appointed traffic superintendent for the company at Carlisle in succession to Mr. W. H. Jelpke, who is now traffic manager for Hebble Motor Services Ltd., of Halifax. Mr. Geoffrey. Hilditch has been selected by Halifax passenger transport committee as the new general manager and engineer of the undertaking in succession to Mr. Richard Le Fevre who is retiring. Mr. Hilditch, who will take over in December, was formerly with the department in Halifax as assistant engineer. He left Halifax five years ago. after three years' service, to take up the post of deputy general manager of the Plymouth undertaking.

Mr, J. P. B. Ablewhite has beeii appointed chief mechanical engineer for James Booth Aluminium Ltd. He will he responsible to the chief engineer, Mr. E. R. Hall.

Mr. R. M. Senior has been appointed principal executive assistant in the office of the London Transport traffic auditor„ Mr. Senior, 42, joined London Transport in 1957 from the audit division of British Road Services.

Mr. G. Culley has been appointed traffic supervisor for the Carlisle area of United Automobile Services Ltd., succeeding Mr. J. G. Strickland on the latter-s retirement. Mr. Cuiley started with United at Blyth 26 years ago as a driver.
