Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Features of the Services Maintained by Some of the Chief Proprietors.

ILFRACOMBE motor-coach owners opened the summer season, as at many other places, in a spell of had weather. The motor vehicles which are licensed for passenger transport number 240. Daily trips are run from Ilfracombe to the following places :—Clovelly for 8s.; Butte, 15s.; Ilinehead (Exmoor), 10s. 8d.; Lynton, Os. ; Cheddar Gorge, 18s.; Docile Valley, Ps.; Torquay, 15s.; Dartmoor (Princetown), 15s.; Tintaget, 15s.; Newquay, 1.8s.

A feature is made of afternoon rung to Saunton Sands and Woolacombe Sands, the fare in each case being 2s. 6d.

There is no association of motorcoach owners in the town, although

efforts in that direction have been made. Something of the kind may become necessary as the number of ownerdrivers increases and as the rivalry of the new motorbus organization extends.

The run to Clovelly is via Barnstaple, Instow and Bideford, a distance a about 70 miles. The owner of the estate on which Clovelly is situated has, built a large garage, where coaches can be parked at the end of the run. The charge for garaging here while waiting for passengers is 2s. per coach. To Torquay, via Exeter, is a run of 157 miles, as is that over Dart

moor to Princetown. The trip to Minehead via Porlock and Parracombe Hills is between 70 and 80 miles; that to Tin tagel is 150 miles return.
