A LANCASHIRE skip hire company and its director have been ordered to pay nearly £8,000 in fines and costs for running an illegal waste transfer station.

RTK Grab Skip Hire was found guilty at Bury magistrates court of keeping controlled waste without a waste management licence. Director John Bottomley was found guilty of consenting to keeping controlled waste without a licence.
