FERRYMASTERS is increasing its presence in the West German market with a move to a new depot near Mannheim.
Previously, the P&O-owned international hauliers had just a sales office there. The new facility will give the company an extra depot in a key location.
The depot is situated at Viernheim, on the outskirts of Mannheim, and has parking space for 20 trailers, modern offices and 2,500sqft of covered warehousing space.
The move to Mannheim underlines steady growth in the company's UK/German traffic, Ferrymasters claims. Germany is a major contributor to the 55,000 trailer loads annually handled by Ferrymasters' Central Europe division, which also includes the Benelux countries and Austria and Italy.
