THIS YEAR'S British International Motor Show at the Birmingham National Exhibition Centre may be the last to include bus and coach exhibits.
A movement is growing within the British manufacturing industry and importers to introduce a major bus and coach industry show in the autumn of 1985 to replace the present series of smaller bus and coach shows and the need for the industry to be represented at the more general Motor Show.
Discussions between the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders, the Bus and Coach Council and a number of suppliers and manufacturers are already at an advanced stage.
