ZF has introduced a smaller version of the Transmatic which is aimed at the frontwheel-drive delivery van and midi-bus markets.
Known as the WSK 244, it has a torque capacity of 140Nm (1031bft) while the total weight of the torque converter and integral three-speed gearbox is 85kg (1871b).
