Eurobus Ltd, Bluebell Industrial Estate, Dublin 12, Republic of Ireland.

Making its Earls Court debut — it was released in time for last year's Scottish Show is the 19-seat Asco Clubman coach of British Leyland EA chassis. Operators will note that the coach's name has been abbreviated from the original Ascough title. All-steel welded frames are used in the construction of the coach which is clearly a strong contender in the midi battle only now hotting up. The Clubman can be supplied to full British psv specification.

Simple maintenance is claimed by the use of flat aluminium panelling and flat glass windows. An unusual feature of the interior is that head-rests are mounted independently of seat backs on steel pillars. This gives added safety, it is claimed. giew for the Show is a redesigned door mechanism. Basic price for the 19-seat Clubman is £2575 inclusive of a 31 cu ft rear luggage locker. The price is to be held until at least next July 1. A 22-seat version of the body on Mercedes-Benz LP0.608 chasis will be available from next January.
