Broadway's new site for North-East
INDEPENDENT USED van and truck specialist Broadway Motor Company has opened a new 1.5-acre sales centre to cover the North-East and beyond.
Located on the site of a former Ford dealership at Cowpen Lane, Billingham, the centre has space for some 90 vehicles.
Stock ranges from car-derived vans to trucks, although most of its current heavier inventory seems to be 7.5-tonners.
Sales leader Ian Griffiths says: "The North-East is an important area for used commercial vehicle sales, and we're pleased to be able to open these new premises in a prime location a move prompted by strong demand for the kind of vehicles that we are able to offer to customers in this part of the country."
He continues: "While the used commercial vehicle market as a whole has been extremely unpredictable over the past year, business for Broadway has remained strong."
Broadway, which is part of the GE Capital group, boasts eight outlets for its used CVs the others are in London, Liverpool, Derby, Rotherham, Manchester, Birmingham and Stoke-on-Trent.
