Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Highway contractor Amey has invested in a fleet of 20 Mercedes-Benz 18-tonners — comprising 11 low-entry Econics and nine Axors, after winning a five-year, £300m contract to maintain and improve the trunk road and motorway network throughout the West Midlands.

Two of the Econic 1824s are barrierreplacement rigs and will be fitted with Palfinger cranes, while the remainder will be traffic management vehicles. The Axor 1824s are incident support units, with five of them being dedicated impact-protection vehicles equipped with energy-absorbing crash bumpers.

Scottish and Southern Energy (SSE) has leased 273 Fiat Fiorinos, after trials found a 20% fuel saving could be made compared with the company's Ford Transit Connects. The energy firm now plans to lease 352 Fiat vans as part of a deal with Lex Autolease. The Fiorino 1.3 Multijet SXs will be joined by 79 Fiat Doblo 1.3 Multijet SXs over the next three months, with all the vehicles on a five-year contract-hire basis, including full maintenance.

Nightfreight has added six new Bevan21 aerodynamic bodies to its existing 1,400-strong fleet, after trials produced up to a 15% reduction in fuel consumption.

The firm has been testing a Bevan21 body since the start of 2009, monitoring and comparing fuel consumption with the firm's regular box-bodies.
