• A thug who attacked a truck driver after the driver hi stopped him throwing stones at his vehicie has been sentenc to nine months in a young offenders' institution.
Maidstone Crown Court heard how Stephen Hoskins w assaulted by a gang he caught throwing stones at his ioi while it was parked at the Safeway supermarket at Larkfie Kent on 9 May. The 47-year-old driver was punched a kicked in the head as he lay on the ground and needed hosi tal treatment for a fracture to his right eye socket.
Karl Underhill, of Medina Road, Dillon, near Maidstor was convicted of assault and causing actual bodily harm.
