The Mk11 Electrotest from Speedograph is a hand-held device which incorporates a tachometer, dwell meter, voltmeter, ammeter, and ohms tester. The unit is suitable for testing positive and negative earth on four, six and eight cylinder engined vehicles.
The dwell meter is used to show that contact points are correctly adjusted while they are working. The tachometer has a fine idle facility which is claimed useful for accurate carburetter tuning.
