Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

will affect the operation of vehicles on general trade plates. Will an operator's licence be required and will we need a special authorization if we use a 201ongross vehicle for a journey of over 100 miles to deliver "claimable" engines back to a manufacturer?

AIt is anticipated that the eventual intro

duction of quality and quantity licensing will not affect general trade plate operations apart from the fact that when the existing system is finally phased out you will not require a C licence. Obviously you will not be permitted to operate for hire and reward, hence there is little point in adding to the administrative burden.

Vehicles operating on general trade plates will be subject" to the Plating and Testing Regulations in the normal manner.
