TN this year's Show the great ma

Taking these makers in alphabetical order, we first deal with the display of the Avon India Rubber Tyre Co., Ltd., on Stand 337. This company's standard range has received an addition in the Loadster cushion tyre, specially for vehicles which carry big loads of fragile goods. Giant pneumatics and tyres for S.D. Freighters form features of this concern's exhibit.

The Bergougnan Tyre Co., showing on Stand 334, specializes in disymmetrical tyres, which are designed to give very cool running, owing to the unusual shape of their outside walls. Resilient solids and low-pressure pneumatics are also included. Another interesting exhibit is that of the British Goodrich

• Rubber Co., Ltd., on Stand 330, which includes all standard types and a tyre of 12-in, fitting, specially designed for Scammell six-wheelers. Cushion tyres are another speciality of this concern. J. W. and T. Connolly, Ltd., is introducing, in its own range, on Stand 341, a specially resilient type of tyre. which appears to be eminently suitable for use with light, fast vehicles.

A tyre which embodies unusually interesting features is shown by the Dominion Rubber Co., Ltd., on Stand 838. This tyre, of 32-in. by 6-in. dimensions, and designed to fit a rim measuring 30 ins. by 5 ins., is stated to be suitable for light lorries, particularly of American manufacture.

That well-known maker, the Dunlop Rubber Co., Ltd., is showing its usual comprehensive range on Stand 325, and includes several new models, One of these having a triple-studded tread of great strength. Well-designed cushion tyres are also featured here.

Unusually bard-wearing, the new giant pneumatic, displayed by Englebert Tyres, Ltd., on Stand 329, should attract much attention. This company's other models are also well worthy of inspection.

Another concern specializing in giant pneumatics is the Goodyear Tyre and Rubber Co. (Great Britain), Ltd„ which occupies Stand 328 and which will shortly be °pelting a new factory at Wolverhampton. On the other hand, the Harboro' Rubber Co. favours the solid or cushion types of tyre and shows a full range of these in many sizes.

lent display with its products, Et superresilient tyre being specially featured, and Etablissements Hntchinson, displaying on Stand 335, shows its solid and cushion tyres, which are well known to commercial users.
