Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A LTHOUGH the 25-cwt. Overland is ..tia comparatively small vehicle, it is, nevertheless, fitted with a substantial gilled tube lorry-type radiator, which has been included in the specification largely to enable the vehicle to operate under the most severe climatic and road conditions both at home and overseas. With a four-cylindered engine of 314n. bore and 4-in. stroke (rated at 19.6 h.p. and developing 30 b.h.p.), a good road performance is provided. A pressurefed lubrication system ensures that all bearings receive an adequate amount of oil.

The gearbox, providing three forward speeds, has a sufficiently low "bottom" ratio to ensure a safe climb up any gradient likely to be encountered in the ordinary run of work. Shown as a boxvan, both side doors of the cab are arranged to open and are fitted with rigid side curtains, windows being fitted in the sides and at the rear. The roof is closely lathed to prevent drumming, and is covered in rubberized waterproof fabric. On the tipper a cranked handle on each side of the lorry operates a screen with a square thread of 11-in. diameter in a self-aligning

bronze nut. The load is taken on a ball-thrust washer, thus relieving the gears of all load stresses. The price of this model is £255.

A 10-cwt. van body mounted on a 15.6 h.p. Overland Whippet chassis provides an interior length of 5 ft. and a width of 4 ft. 3 ins., whilst the height is 3 ft. 9 ins. The capacity is thus Ms cubic ft.

A traveller's brougham and a travellees saloon on a Whippet 15.6 h.p. chassis are also shown, the prices being £220 and £250 respectively.

Mounted on one of the British-built 25-cwt. chassis is a 14-seater Sunray co,ach, which costs 1510, complete with a very full equipment. The ;wheelbase of this chassis, by the way, is 12 ft. All the seats face forward, each passenger having a separate seat cushion and squab. Two doors are fitted on the near side of the body, and a driver's door to the off side, an arrangement allowing a fair space for the passengers to reach their respective seats.

The most interesting feature of the body, however, is undoubtedly the hood arrangement. Actually, the front section of the hood—the portion above the driver's seat—is fixed, and is equipped with a handle which, when turned, caress the hood to run rearwards and fold on to the back of the body, behind the rearmost seat.
